S2000 Octane

If you read the archives, the motor is mapped to 93 octane, 91 will work, anything less is just gambling.

I filled with regular today to see what kind of mileage I can get out of it..

I got ~260 50/50 hwy/city on 93
Wondering what I'm gonna get on 87..

BTW, I think the S takes only 11 gallons or so.

13-/+gal is the tank

87 is no bueno for a car with an 11:1 cr

Not to be nit picky, but detonation is when the air/fuel mixture auto-ignites before the spark plug fires. It will not burn "completely" before TDC.

Just carry a can of toluene in your trunk in case you get stuck somewhere with a station that doesn't have premium.
