The insurance on my wife's '95 GS-R is about $200 more every six month term than my '01 S2k. I think the Integras have one of the highest theft rates per cars on the road. I do not know the market now, but at one time the parts for a GS-R conversion (engine/trans/axles/ECU) was worth about $4,000 and a Type-R conversion would fetch over $5,500. I saw a rear ended GS-R (so smashed that the rear bumper was in the back seat) sell for $7k at an auction one time. The guy was going to part it out. That is crazy.

What would you do with a stolen S2000? There aren't too many riceboys itching to buy hot S2000 parts because they won't fit on their Civics, and most people that own S2000's that are damaged probably have insurance and insist on new parts from reputable body shops, not chop shops.

the S is not the most frequently stolen car, as we already established, but i read on some chart on the internet, i think it was of of yahoo or msn, and the # 1 stolen car is the cadillac escadlade(sp) , imo the most stolen car seems to be the most advertized, maybe the big tymers rappers shouldn't have made that song going " cadillac escalade w/ the chromed out nose"

How? They don't put stickers on or anything so how does it keep people from driving it off?

The car itself is reasonably secure. If your worried install LowJack. Typically it alone will keep people from driving it off.

antennas are stolen because cars like the 350Z, and most new VW's have a longer whip antenna that IMHO and most others looks like total crap, and ours fits on their cars almost perfect...
