This is not unique to the S2000 (nor to Honda). Historically Honda radios were dealer installed, at least they were in a couple of my early Civics. Wrong radio was in one. Right one took 10 minutes to swap. Much of this was, no doubt, due to the cars being produced in Japan. Unless I dreamed this AC was a dealer option way back then. When Civics started coming out of Marysville it became less common to even have a choice of things like what radio.

A supercharger was a dealer option for the S2000 at a few places and according to original owners it was covered under the factory warranty. I only know of one (1) such car.

I've had a pocket behind my passenger seat almost from day one, but rarely use it. I just mentioned to my wife that we should use it more. She didn't even know it was there. Too busy hanging on I guess. The only way you'd be getting any " factory warranty " work done on a supercharged S2000 engine, is to remove the supercharger before dragging it to the dealership! That or be best buds with the dealer principal, and or service manager.

Superchargers were apparently installed at some dealers and maintained the Honda warranty (long expired).

Modifry has a really neat $20 organizer for the secret compartment. I purchased a hanging toilet bag thing from Eddie Baurer outlet that holds my paper maps. The hanger part goes on the hook behind the drivers seat. Nice and flat.

^Nope. All years came with the simple "open H" chrome emblems (except CR, which was black). That is the optional black chrome emblem. For '04+ the standard H emblems got bigger, matching the size of the black chrome ones.

Hardtops came to the dealers in a crate. When I bought my car new in 02 the hardtop had to be ordered and arrived about 3 weeks later. Don't know how the CR's tops came.

Well thats good, I was about to order the black chrome s2000 fender emblems and the H's, but guess I only need the fender black chromes. Thanks twohoos
Black chrome badges look so good on the yellow! Are you sure you don’t have the black chrome sides? The difference from stock is incredibly subtle.

Save yourself some money and just get the CR emblems if you want black sides.

^Yes, Deckoz, you almost certainly have the black chrome fender badges too. All 4 (2 bumper, 2 fender) were sold as a set, so it would be odd if you didn't.

I love them, especially the bumper badges - they look great with any and every color ever offered. Probably my favorite mod I've ever done (and I had $5K coilovers at one point lol).

Anyone know if they're even available to order anymore?
