RMurphy: the roll bar is the only mod that's visible , and I kind of like how it looks... The other mods include eibach front roll bar, tein mono flex coilovers (oem suspension included), radar detector (lol), and new wheels tires break pads and rotors.
seems like strange mods unless you're racing it, but assuming it rides nice I think I'm gonna pull the trigger on this one.

You must be driving the new toll road in Austin with no traffic. I live in DFW but go to Austin a lot and the traffic is awful!!!

yeah traffic in austin is horrible ....
the reason I don't deal with any on my commute is I live south and work north... it's always bumper to bumper going in the opposite direction when I'm on the road

I see, I used to go from round rock to Barton creek and surrounding areas, what a beating that was..
At the risk of being repetitious, it's a good idea to get it checked out by a reputable shop before purchasing. It's typically worth the $100 or so up front to know what you are getting into.
just me but i wouldnt spend a dime over book. i get edmunds, nada, black book and blue book and find the lowest then start my haggle a few grand lower. i just bought my s2 out of state . after about a year of searching i found on in my price range and drove from new orleans to pensacola fl with my wife paid 1800 under nada and drove it home. the right one will come along, but paying over book is the same as getting ripped off imo
