Unfortunately, and sorry to say, as the production run gets older and the cars get cheaper, the quality of the owners start to diminish as well.

I have noticed this in the past 2-3 years on the board and it's very sad to see.
^^^ yeah, i disagree with this ASSumption. He is probably the same guy who buys into a new subdivision only to move out 5 years later b/c the "minorities" are finding their way in.

IMO, the sooner the younger crowd gets here, the better. More imagination, creativity, time spent debating fickle little things and dreaming up mods to make for our cars.

I love the "original, pure enthusiasts", but I've found that over time on the Miata, Acura CL, Legend, and 300ZX boards, new ideas are always springing up into the community and possibilites are always endless with new faces.

You just might think S2000 owners are Canadian.

Woowoo we rock...(but we would rather be somewhere else).

Congrats on your purchase! I've had mine coming on 6 years and I love it!! I drive the snot out of it every chance I get and this new AP2 tranny and 4.77 gears are going to give me a stroke. Just like when I took my first test drive on Jan 6 2000. Haven't been able to pry my fat ass out of it since Two of my best S2000 friends have two each so I'd like to complain about being underrepresented.

How's that? Don't mind the drama queens they just want some attention.

There are cars that where owners wave and get all enthusiastic and there are those that don't. I have owned many cars..Miata, C5, Boxster S, Audi TT, and currently an S2k..because I like it. However, no other S2k driver has ever waved at me. No other Vette, Porsche or Audi TT driver did either. However, I also own a MINI Cooper S and, almost without exception, other MINI owners wave. Why? Don't know, but it doesn't make me want to get rid of my Honda.

My car always gets attention but I will confirm that not all S2000 drivers wave or say hi but they don't always see me either. Who cares anyway? I don't need approval from someone else to know I love my ride. I get it all the time but wouldn't care if I didn't. Last time I was out I had the driver of a civic behind me yell out "your car is awesome!" to-which I replied with a Some days lots of people check you out and others nobody does.

Why does it matter?

Anyhow my point was pretty much plain and simple... Its okay to have arguments, but they do get carried away here on the form to the point were its immature. Some people start cursing at each other and start offending others and then its starts to look like our form is a bunch of teenage boys with toys. Sorry im 21, but i play nice with my toys. No need to fight. You want to fight like freaking sailors then go to a bar and go say the whole anything you can do i can do better routine.
Maybe your just over sensitive and like to complain alot?

Actually, I'll give a peace sign to S2k owners. One time, I saw a GPW S2k like mine, and pulled up next to it. We both chatted for a brief moment.

Anyways, I don't care if they do or don't wave. I like driving my car
