Default S2000 Ownership age

Hello,

I am currently doing a project reguarding the next generation S2000. I am a student and can not seem to find the right info on demographics and such.

If you could take the time and let me know how old you are that would be helpful.

Also if you dont mind posting why you choose the vehicle over the compeition that would be helpful as well.

Thank you for your time!

Rob Cameron

**edit*** thanks for the info. I will do a search. Sorry for the typos- **

There have been many polls exactly like this posted here over the years. It seems like a new one is started every 6 months. I'm not sure if the age brackets are exactly like yours, but they will certainly be similar.

I'm just mentioning this because you could retrieve the data you need for your project immediately if you do a search for the old poll threads. Otherwise, you may have to wait weeks to get a reasonable sample from this new poll. ...Assuming of course anyone takes an interest in this thread and actually votes.

Good luck.

the voting categories do not make sense. ages are repeated in different categories.

it should be like:
16-20
21-25
26-30
etc
etc

Rob, I don't mind answering this question, again. I'm 47 now, but I bought my first S2000 when I was 43. We have two of them now, with my husband driving the '01 Silverstone now, and I drive the '05 Suzuka.

I chose the 2001 S2000 for two reasons:

#1 It was made by Honda. I am a loyal Honda owner and the '01 S2000 was my 5th new Honda car. I never gave any consideration to any other car.

#2 It was too awesome to pass up. I just loved the looks and wanted something fun to drive.

I chose the second one, a 2005 S2000 because I wanted a Suzuka one and the color wasn't available in 2001. The 2001 Silverstone S2000 had 56,000 miles on it and it was so much fun, we decided to keep it so my husband could drive one too and we could go on drives together, with no one having to sit shot-gun.

I'm 22, purchased the car when I was 20. Got the S2000 because everything thing else I drove didn't seem as responsive (350Z, S4, Mustang, etc.). Paid for the car by my self the whole way (In case anyone thinks its parent purchased).
