I am 45, bought it 3 yrs ago. Why, great value ! Rear wheel drive, fabulous gear box, handles like it's on rails , looks great , it's a roadster, revs to 9k!!! can go 134mph, and if I want to I can still smoke the tires...... (warning this involves big balls and clutch dumps at 7or 8 K) why wouldn't you buy this car?

 

I'm 62, I bought this car because my E46 M3 was boring.

 

damn that means a lot considering how many sack ride the e46 m3.

 

I'm 18 and I got mine b/c I was awarded a full-ride scholarship to college. The reason I chose it is that no car in its price range can even come close to matching this car plus it just looks badass.

 

The M3 was nice, but not raw enough. I had to be over 100 mph before it felt like I was moving. Overall, a great car.

When I get older, I'll probably get an M5 or AMG of some type.

i am 21, i bought da car when i was 20. no help from parents, i just have good credit. i love the car becuase its a convertible.

 

I'm 26, I bought the car b/c it was the best looking/performing car for my interests at the time I was in the market for a new car. Of course the next year a lot of other appealing cars came to the market.

 

I'm 23, purchased the car when I was 21. Did need fathers help on co-signing the loan - I was approved to purchase on my own however as my credit was "decently established" my interest rate was rather high. Once my father co-signed my payments went down drastically.
Actually - the first time I saw the s2000 on the street I wasn't very impressed by the looks. Then over time it started to grow on me. Told my friend that worked at a dealer I wanted a used one and to give me a call when it comes in. He called me & I stopped by for a test drive - fell in love! Picked up the car few days later.
