Default S2000 Paint....

I have a black 02'The paint F...cking sucks. scratches everywhere around the door handle, front quarters, all body panels, hood. you name it.

Is it my color choice? Black makes it more evident...probably has something to do with it. But I have never had a car that grabbed scratches this easily.

what is your experience?

Yes it s more likely the color choice as with black you can see everything from scratches to swirl marks like crazy.......hence why you gotta take extra care of your berlina black if you get one....

Obviously, you've never owned a Subaru. You wanna talk about crappy paint....my WRX paint was thin to the point where I could see the primer underneath in some less critcal areas.

But that doesn't help you. Maybe try taking it to a professional detailer. They might be able to buff some of those imperfections out

I've been pretty happy with the paint on my Hondas. Subaru paint is by far the worst.

In the US, the EPA said no more lead based paint anymore to the auto mfr's. This exists on most new cars today. They scratch easily and the paint in general sucks.
