S2000 Paint....
Honda paint is super week. My old Infiniti paint was great. The car was never garaged and parked by the beach in the salt air for a couple of years and still looked good 8 years later. My dads CLK430's paint is in a league of its own. I think MB bakes it on or something. Anyone know?
It's the color black in general. I've owned 4 black cars, 2 black/silver Shelby Chargers, a black Trans Am, and a black GTI. All were impossible to take care of. I swear I will never buy another black car again!!! They look awesome when the are clean but man they are a pain to keep up on.
My GTI was the best out of all the other cars. Washed it just about every week and waxed it every other week. I used a paint cleaner, then a swirl remover, and then Zymol. Also I did it by hand, never let a buffer or auto car wash touch it. Thats the key. Even so it looked sweet for about 3 days...................then it was back to the wash bucket again!!!

IMO, the Honda paint is on par with or better than most other manufacturers.
My previous 01 Vette's soft paint was way worse. Lots o' Zaino kept it and my S looking good, tho'
Hmm... it's most likely user error. 4 years and there isn't so much as a swirl mark on the car and it has NEVER been polished. Of course it is my baby and only sees 100% cotton towels and the exterior is NEVER touched. You cannot touch the exterior of the car (especially when dirty) without expecting the paint to be scratched. This is true for almost any painted surface. Go to zaino.com and they have excellent tips on how to detail a car, what things will scratch the surface etc. etc. etc.

Obviously, you've never owned a Subaru. You wanna talk about crappy paint....my WRX paint was thin to the point where I could see the primer underneath in some less critcal areas.
But that doesn't help you. Maybe try taking it to a professional detailer. They might be able to buff some of those imperfections out
