My Berlina paint has the same problems - Z-PC helps with swirls though. In my opinion the S2k paint isn't too bad - it beats some other cars...

We should start an underground lead paint blackmarket
Would our cars be lighter if we started a carbon paint black market?

The paint on the metal seems to be holding up well . The paint on the bumpers is another story .

Use only microfiber for washing and wax removal.

The S2000, NSX, and Insight should have better paint than most Honda/Acuras. IIRC the S2000, NSX, and Insight all get a 5 layer paint process (including clear coat) where as most Honda/Acuras only get a 3 layer paint process. The RL may get a 5-step too, I'm not sure.

black is horrible. period. it is easily the single best looking color around for the first 5 minutes after you get done washing/waxing/killing yourself for 6 hours. after that 5 minutes though, it's back to durty girl-dom.

the paint on the mazda RX-8 i think is far worse then the S2000. My buddy has about 17000 miles on his RX-8 (Nordic Green) and the front end of that car is so chewed up he is already looking at either a repaint or a MS bumper. it is disgusting. all the way up the hood, fenders, front bumper, OEM lip, etc. the paint is QUITE soft on that car...
