For those S2000 owners who've driven it around for over a year... after the initial 600 miles break-in period, how many more miles did it take until you felt the responsiveness of the engine improve and finally get into a groove?

It comes on gradually thought probably between 6,000-12,000 you will feel gains. True break in is at 12,000.

BTW: I have 21,000 miles on my car so far and I have only driven it for a year(Nov 18 is my baby's birth day) Crazy hu!

That ain't much. When I used to drive a Civic EX in high school, I put on 23,000 miles in its first year. I didn't even take any road trips! I have no clue how I managed to drive so much. I just don't get people who put on only 15,000 miles a year with their daily driver.

I have a feeling I will be putting on some miles in the S2000 unless I am set up in consulting projects outside of Seattle.
