By me there is a Mazda dealer right by the honda dealer so i checked out the new Miatas on the lot! All where over 24 thousand
and half where over twenty eight thousand......I think the Miata can be compared to the s2000. It just doesn't have the power plant! Especially above 60 mph........I love the car(s2000)...and i love that its been produced for three years...2000...2001....and 2002 and
most people have no idea it exists.

I just checked out Mazda's USA website (http://www.mazdausa.com/) and the MSRP on a base model Miata is $21,800.00. I apologize for stating the price was less than $20,000.00 as I was not stating factual information.

I still stand behind the idea that the Miata and the S2000 are two completely different automobiles and the comparison between them is not the best.

I must agree. My '95 Sol was super rare...it was Isle Green Pearl...that dark forest-green color. Honda only offered this color in '95, and they only produced 500 of them. Rare indeed.

That's not a VTEC is it? I have only seen a few VTEC Del Sol's. I drove one once, and was pretty impressed.

Indeed it was a VTEC:

B16a3 in all it's splendor and glory. I loved that car. What a sweet motor. But I have "The S" now, so I guess I really can't complain too much.

Oh, I thought the VTEC came with the rear wing.
