Default S2000 pricing

Hi, im new on the forum and just wanted to ask you gys a question?

I was at the honda dealer the other dsay and saw an 2002 S2000 sil/blk with the hardtop and front and rear spoiler. they are selling it for 37840 and i just wanted to know if that was a good deal or not. The sales guy was trying to tell me that this was the last year the were making it but ive read on here that its not true.

Well anyway what do you guys think of the price? good deal or not?
Another question,
For you guys financing, how much are your monthly payments?

thanx for your help

MSRP = Somewhere around $32,500

Hardtop = Somewhere around $2000

I would say that with the rear and front spoiler that $38K would be a close guestimate.

I purchased mine pre September 11th and the dealers were really stout on the price! I paid $39,000 WITHOUT a Hardtop or Front Spoiler! Of course, the dealer told me that the 2001 was the last year Honda was going to make the S2000, and that only 5,000 a year were being made. The truth of the matter is that once I saw the S2000 in the showroom under the lights, and now that I've driven it for 6 months, to me the car is well worth $39 -$45K. It's just that Honda would have a hard time selling in that price range unless they released it under the Acura name. Go for it man!!! You will never regret it!!!! The car is a dream to own!!!!

You can find a stock '02 for MSRP 32,400 + tax
Then get a hardtop $2443 + shipping (HandA-accessories)
Front/Rear spoiler $700 + shipping (same)
So roughly $35,500 for the do it yourself version.
MSRP for all those add-ons are HT $3600, Front spoiler $600, Rear $600, so the total MSRP $37,200 sounds like at least a $600 markup.
Having installed all three accessories without problems, I'd suggest save the $2,000 and do a little work yourself.
My 2 cents. Your 200,000 cents.

I just picked my '02 silv/black for $30,500. I'm probably gonna buy any accessories like the spoilers or changer from aftermarket because they are much cheaper.
