I found something interesting when I put in my rear speakers: There are production date codes molded into the rear panel showing datesfrom '99 through '03. Also, there are similar date codes on the plastic piece under the hood for the A/C right near the hood latch (on the bottom side of the plastic - you have to remove it).

 

I'm not too surprised. Most Japanese car makers revamp the models every 4 years.
