Default Hood problem

At some point when i lowered and raised the hood the section of hood fabric that runs from the top of the hood and overlaps the rear window managed to get itself caught behind the corner of the rear window. I didn't notice, or at least i don't think i noticed, at the time and it must have stretched the fabric.

Now, even in normal driving without raising or lowering the hood it seems to be able to get itself round the back of the bottom corner of the glass rear screen.

Anyone else had this problem and if so how was it resolved? My car is under warranty until next year, but i'm loath to ask for a new hood due to all the problems that people have had getting a replacement fitted.

I don't know if you wet it thoroughly when its all in the correct position it may shrink dry and stay the way it was meant to.?

Don't think wetting it is going to work. The car is kept outside all year round so regularly gets wet when it rains.
