Hmmm...maybe they switched mid-year, but mine was definitely Tochigi, and I remember hearing about the change in factory and realizing that I had bought one of the last to be produced there.

they switched mid 2004 so some 2004's are suzuka's and some are tochigi.

There were only two plants, it's the first is the Takanezawa plant in the Tochigi prefecture.

For a while, it was the only factory with welding equipment for both steel and aluminium, which is why the Insight was built there.
