S2000 Purchase
Hello,
I have been a huge S2000 fan since they were first manufactured. After approval from the wifey, I am ready to pull the trigger on my first one. While I love the raw, race spirit of the AP1, I am drawn to the refinement of the AP2. I plan driving long winding mountain roads. I would appreciate any feedback that you, the experts might have for me. What do you all think is a fair price to pay for a 2007 S2000 with less than 10K mi. All original, 1 owner, mint condition.
Any input would great appreciated.
Thanks!

What's the asking price on this one? I'd not set a strict price limit or lose the car for a thousand or two. It will sell to someone else if you don't buy it so the seller has little incentive to discount the price especially with this extremely low mileage.
The common asking prices are listed above but these cars typically have higher mileage. 2006 and 2007 are identical other than some color choices. Same with 2008 and 2009 which got the 5-spoke wheels and (yet another) suspension tweak.
2006-2007 have the most compliant suspension. 2006 and later are DBW and can be tuned for significantly more mid-range power which will transform the car.
Tires age by time so expect to buy a new set. Stiff sidewalls are paramount to S2000 handling.
