I enjoy VTECing the car as much as taking the rpms to redline every once in a while. There's a special feeling from both cases.
The VTEC cross over is pleasent to the ears...satisfies the senses and remedies the desire of making the engine grawl and getting the engine to sing that note....bhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. My sense of touch and hearing light up from being immersed with the grawl of the VTEC and the trust from the VTEC cross over. Brain sends signal to right foot...it's ok to let off the accelerator now.
When that isn't enough, building the RPMs up to redline and waiting until it hits the redline has a similar effect. It does this visually and mentally. Delivers a daring sensation in a way. I feel that I am asking the engine to operate at its highest possible range. Will it survive this test? Testing the limits of the engine
