Values will continue to be down in the spring. As I mentioned in the post the normal drop in the Fall on auction prices on S2000's has been around 700 per vehicle. The drop in the last 6 months has been around 5000 per car. There will be a price increase in the Spring however it will be in that 700 dollar range. If there were a 5000 dollar swing in prices we could all retire on just buying cars in Dec and Jan and reselling them in May and June. My daughter loves my S2000 and she is about to finish college. She wanted to buy one and I always told her they were to much money for her starting out. Now she can get a 2001 in great shape for 18,000 it looks like we will be a 2 S2k family.

I can't believe how much the value of our cars has dropped in the past year. This is almost as bad as F-body depreciation in the last two years...maybe worse.

It's such a drastic swing it almost makes me ponder selling the car.
