Yep, I know how that feels too... I agree with the above, they're out there, just tough to find most of the time. I searched the entire US for about 16 months, until I finally found almost exactly what I was looking for (small compromise on color), at a solid price. I constantly checked ebay, local classifieds, autotrader, autos.aol, craigslist and more. It's tough, for sure, but if you're dedicated and can move on a car, you've got a good shot at getting a great S.

That's a fantastic looking prelude, btw!

++ for expanding search to out of state. I couldn't find anything near me-- ended up flying to New Mexico from California, and drove my car home.

There is a 2-page spread in Popular Mechanics.

It's cheaper and performs better than the Miata. If I had to buy a new car right now, the BRZ/FR-S would be at the top of my short list.

Where did you get 32k? I've been seeing 25k as the estimated price.

Hah! Yeah that's base price. Expect that price + options + dealer markup/gouging and you're looking at $30k easy if you want to buy one ANY time soon.

To the OP, look out of state for an S2000. I flew down to Florida to get mine and am very glad I did.

You definitely have to expand your search, I have traveled as much as 1700 miles to get a car. S2000 prices are on the rise, summer is coming so this will effect pricing and availability.
