S2000 search is fruitless
Yep, I know how that feels too... I agree with the above, they're out there, just tough to find most of the time. I searched the entire US for about 16 months, until I finally found almost exactly what I was looking for (small compromise on color), at a solid price. I constantly checked ebay, local classifieds, autotrader, autos.aol, craigslist and more. It's tough, for sure, but if you're dedicated and can move on a car, you've got a good shot at getting a great S.

To the OP, look out of state for an S2000. I flew down to Florida to get mine and am very glad I did.
You definitely have to expand your search, I have traveled as much as 1700 miles to get a car. S2000 prices are on the rise, summer is coming so this will effect pricing and availability.
