I used to be a big fan of the countersunk knobs, but over time, I began to appreciate Honda's decision to go with the stock height when I picked up the OEM Ti knob just for kicks.
It simply feels better and you actually get a sense of positive shifting movement whereas at lower heights, the action feels mechanically vague and a bit over done.
