S2000 on Speed Channel?
Wow, what a bunch of cry-babies here.
Anyway, yes, the 5th Gear that SPEED is showing is from a few years ago. It's worth watching on its own, regardless of any S2000 content - very funny, lots of cars I've never even heard of. It's an amazing contrast to MotorWeek (I think?) which did a spot on the Carrera GT a little while back. OMG, what a piece of vomit. They spent about five minutes showing footage of the car going around a test track - my guess it was a factory driver taking a reporter for a ride - accompanied by a reading of the spec sheet. That's it. You could only barely hear the engine. What a piece of insipid piece of crap. 5th Gear puts some great spunk into their production, with great writing, presentation and artistic direction.
Hopefully, SPEED will start showing Top Gear as well.

I honestly don't care if the Boxster won. I think it's a great sport's car too, while not my first choice, I think it's worthy of the title. I would rather have the Boxster win than some of the other choices.
The Boxster S was simply out of my willing-price range. Also, I too don't find the design all that appealing.
I keep thinking that if I am going to buy a porsche, it would have to be a 911.
For now, I will enjoy the S2000.

ok i watched it and that shows sux, if not for seeing those sweet cars. beginning was good with the race car. S2000 was apparently to uglky, but fun to drive, but not a sports car???? and it got cut off by a commercial before they finished up on the S.
why did they decide that PRACTICALITY is the most important catagory to judge SPORTS CARS ON.. imo the two most important things that should have been weighed are speed and handling for the price.. opinions are just opinions though
