I would have bought the Boxster if I could have afforded it. I'm sure I'm not alone. Or I would have bought a 911. But for the price, the S2000 holds its own.

 

I don't really care what others say, I love the S and if critics don't name it #1 in all comparisons and that means a lower production number, I'm all for that. I must say though, that yellow TVR caught my eye in a BIG way. So sweeeet.

 

I just returned my leased base 01 boxster after 36 months, and could have easily afforded the 04 boxster s this time around. IMO the S2000 is much more pure sports car. yea yea I know its a porsche, (got the cool emblem) but I much prefer the feel of the S2000. The porsche was much too refined with all the extra options and smooooth ride. F*k that. the S2000 is raw like a sports car should be. IMO.
