Default s2000 steering rack to hydraulic manual rack.

As the title states I'm aware the rsr s2000 was swapped to an fd rx7 rack and is 98% drop in. However I'm trying to find a thread or threads with PICTURES. Not just talk. I've searched for the last 3 days for about 3-4 hours a day and I feel I've exhausted all options to find pictured documentation of this swap. If anyone has any images or knowledge of this swap on someone's car and could send a link to that thread or have them comment I would appreciate it!

Couldn't 3-4 hours a day for 3 days just be spent actually doing it? You'd have it pretty much done by now.

Also...why do you want to do this?

Searching for pictures of the swap yes. not doing the swap. id like to verify what I'm getting into before I take the task on.
also nothing in particular other than weight reduction and my eps is already all removed besides the rack.

The hydraulic pump, fluid, and lines aren't gonna weigh less than what you're taking out...

I would just spend time researching, in general, what it takes to install a hydraulic system.

You'll probably want an electronic pump from a 2G MR2 or similar. Custom lines and custom work on mounting the rack.

I wouldn't waste time looking for a "how to"

Just research how the system you want works. And go do it.

I know how the system works and know what I'm doing mechanically. I just want the rack. That's it. I'm not putting in anything else. It will be a manual converted hydraulic rack etc. no pump, cooler, lines, or fluid. I'm just trying to see rack mounting and collar adapters, if needed, installed with any shims or not.

If you want to save weight go all the way. No power assisted steering!

I'm intrigued, this would be a cool project. Wonder how much more feel there is through the steering wheel..?
