Default s2000 team cancer rocks!

Hey guys!

I just checked out our stats. I'm happy to say since I joined, the team has doubled (I think I was 53, we're now up to 103). I've been on for three days, and my machine has been crunching for 3 solid days! I've already contributed a couple thousand point to team s2000's 2 million plus points! We are rocking cancer! Go team! and thanks everone who's taken the time to set this up and to cthree for posting the link and jane doe on team spugen for reminding us (me)

I browsed the size of other teams and ours is generally on the large size. I think this is representative of this community and how extremely cool everyone here is for doing this. You people rock!

If you want to join, check out cthree's announcement on the top of each forum, or click the link in my sig. s2000's have the best owners!

I'm going to sign up for two computers -- one a home and one at work.

If you join up and want a "S2000 Cure for Cancer Team" badge in your signature, PM me.

C'mon everyone - gotta beat those Imprezza guys. They have 336 members and we only have ~100.

I have generated just under 1000 points in 37 hours. Processor power here is the key, bandwidth is not.

Dual P3 550
1GB Ram

Ok, now we need to see who is ahead of us in points and see if we can catch them. Go Team.

Even worse.. I've done 6 ligands in ~9 hours... Wow I stink.. Oh well.. at least I'm making SOME sort of contribution

Hey I have a question.. it says "storage" performance, and I have 0.98 GB, and 100% is 5. Does that effect how fast I complete a project?

Good question, I don't know, but my United Devices install only takes up 2 MB..... uh......

I may install this on my other (faster) machine, but right now it's running on a 1200 mHz athlon w/ 768 ram. UD tells me my machine is 127% compared to their reference set up and it takes me about 2 to 3 hours to do a ligand (sometimes more, sometimes less) I know I've done a lot by now, maybe 60 to 90 and I'm up to 2,199 points. Let it run for a couple days. It seems to stack up pretty fast. I guess a good measure is days, not hours.

Anyway, GO TEAM!
