I signed up for another United Devices project at work (cure for smallpox) and noticed that it defaulted my hard disk space to 1GB. I changed this on the UD web site "device" configuration. (Note - it takes a while to show up on your computer.)

Anyway, when I came home, I noticed that the cancer project running here had the same 1GB setting. This definitely affects the size and type of work it gives your computer.

Check your stats (use the little icon in the system tray and on the "home" display, click on "Storage" to check your setting.

Good point that! If you have a reasonably sized hard drive ( ) you can set the space alloted to about 5 gig which makes a huge difference! So I guess size IS important.

When you click on the little blue icon, have you any points showing yet at the top right of that screen? If you have then you've already uploaded at least one set of results and have started another. It wont show up in the team stats though till they update which is in the wee small hours each morning... for us anyway!

 

OIC, I have only completed 2 of 30 ligands. I'm going to give it some more HD space and hopefully that will help. Although I'm undocking my laptop now to take it home for the weekend, so I won't be helping much while I'm out drinking .

Well according to the latest UD update, you have in fact uploaded one completed result, so your current set of ligands is your second. See... you're quicker than you thought.
