168MPH here ( 269km/h ) SLIGHT downhill german autobahn...

hit 140 before i came up to more traffic on the 5 lol. gps verified too! lol

 

I wonder how much difference the speedo has compared to a GPS system next to it. i'm guessing if you hit 160MPH, that actual speed might be something like 140-145?

at 88 my gps shows 86

 

Just for the record, he was called TurboDave because of a previous car. The S in that video was NA (I think he had an intake plus). Downhill and a tailwind helped, but it did prove a point about top speed (definitely no governor, for one) .

Seeing the tach flash in 6th was very cool.

^^ No intake...Mugen ECU, header, tp, and exhaust were his performance mods.

I am not mistaken, I don't believe top speed will increase due to power. Isn't this gear based?
