Zero engine upgrades? This car isnt gonna help me when I'm trying to pass the G35/335/IS with 3 passengers inside. Looks a tad better than the CR though.

Type S barely have any engine upgrades, and especially with the S2000, it already has more then enough power for its type, well at least for the avg joe. This could hit 40K plus! thats a scary territory to be in

You don't have to worry, the Type S is for the Japan market. It won't be available in the US.

I like this, it is more practicle because of the retractable hardtop.

Retractable hardtop? Me thinks not... the Type S is essentially the CR with a soft top.
