I've been to the Honda Japan site and checked this bad boy out. Does anyone know if and when we're supposed to get the type-v? Hopefully within 3 years so i can get one right after my lease is up

Now I take it what you are saying is that you will be taking out a 3 year lease on whatever is the next vehicle you intend to buy (325, Z3 or Stook) and you want buy a Type V when the that lease expires.

Otherwise I have to assume you are not in the market for a vehicle yet as your current lease doesn't run out for a further 3 years. Hopefully this is not the case otherwise I have to ask what the heck you are wasting time deciding now as the market will be a whole new ball game then.

Oh, no, I put down my downpayment today on a yellow S2000, just gotta wait for it to come in, shouldn't be long, they said they'd already ordered it. So, we'll see.

Well congratulations Jon, I am sure you will enjoy it tremendously and will be well and truly ready for a Type V in 3 years.

When is your vehicle due, what are delivery waiting periods like at this time of year?

In answer to your question re Type V, as far as I am aware this is a Japanese domestic market model only at this time.

Someone from Japan (elnetti?) suggested that the Type V is getting a bad reception in Japan. Don't know why.
