They may be the same price, but I'm sure a lot of people here will agree with me in the fact that they are COMPLETELY different cars. You have to decide what you want out of the car.

On one hand you have the S2000... Its a pure sports car. You feel everything. Plus its a 2 seater convertible.

On the other hand you have the G35. Its a really nice car, but in the end its a luxury coupe. The ride isn't as harsh nor would it give you the adrenaline rush you get out of an S. It's also got more room and is a 2+2 seater....

They are COMPLETELY different cars... You just have to decide what you want...

having driven both cars... both are awesome!

if u need the room, go for the G35... otherwise keep the S!

It's quite interesting that you ask this question, because my best friend and I just bought new cars. We have very similar tastes and styles, but I went with the S2 and he chose the G35 coupe. He valued the luxury and the added features the G35 offered, and I wanted pure performance. I have no doubt that we'll trade cars every now and then to see what the other "style" is like, but in the end, it's all about taste.

ive driven both, and ive also driven a track 350z.
-s2000-pure sports car but pretty much nothing else its awsome, handles awesome, sounds awesome.
-350z-pure sports car, doesnt sound so impressive doesnt feel very "racy" to me very very heavy, i think if that v6 revved to 8k i'd love it but with a mid6k redline the fun is over too fast.
-G35-a very soft version of the 350, EVEN HEAVIER,good for its backseat, seat warmers, power seats sunroof, i think. and it has a great exhaust note=to the z
they just arent as fun as the s200

I've been thinking of trading my S in for something more practical (seats 4) and liveable (better daily driver) and I've considered the G35, but the S2000 is more fun to drive and hard to part with.

true the 4 seat rwd 298hp is hard to beat when it comes to performance coupes. its more like a sedan to me. even though it has 2 doors.
