I hate to start such an idiotic discussion but I wanted to share the following: this morning on the red lights, a mustang gt came next to me with a growling engine. we had a little drag as soon as red turned into green. actually I decided to race a split second after my clutch fully engaged. then we had a head-to-head up to 95mph, then finally I could pass him slightly. we quit around 105mph. (I had it all in vtec, with real quick shifts, I had learnt driving in Istanbul Turkey, which explains a lot if you ever been there).

maybe this happened because I didn't have a drop clutch start. maybe this happened 260hp mustang with enormous torque is as fast as s2000. I am afraid I would lose easily against an m roadster, m3, or a z06 vette.

so far I had a couple of distinct victories against bmw 330ci, audi tt 225 quattro, and z3 3.0.

BTW,I have to confess that I had a disaster against a viper. I shouldn't dare it at the first place.
