S2000 watered down for 2004?
hmmm
Maybe good... maybe bad
personally I LIKE the edge my car has on it.. which is why I didn't get another bimmer or audi...
sounds like honds is going after the 350z droptop (even though it was already trounced)
Once honda walked to the beat of it's own drum... looks like they're seeing green.
I'm sure it will be a hell of a car...
but after all... this is one of the few japanese cars with SOUL!

Personally, I think the 04 and 05's will be better than our current models. There are some lingering problems with our that might be addressed in the new models. A touch more torque down low would be great, after that it is all gravy. However, they should have kept the 9000rpm, you can't say my car goes to 9000 anymore

I agree that Honda will try to "up the ante", whether they hit the mark or not remains to be seen. I'm sure many were skeptical about the original 00 before it came out, I say hold skepticism back until we see what 04 is all about. Sounds like to me they are at least trying address a few issues that may make the car better.
