my bf and I have been talking about getting engaged, and I told him if he didn't want to splurge on a big ring he could get me a smaller ring, just throw a hardtop in with the deal!

LOL at my wedding all of my friends got together and got me a rather large craftsman tool set- then they made sure not to wrap it and put it in the center of the table in front of all of the nicely wrapped gifts...

not cool in my book... imo you should get things that benefit you AND the wife hence the glasses plates and such (that shit adds up, BELIEVE ME!)
