its worth every penny. your getting some of the highest displacement for your buck.

geez, just look at how cool it is. People stop me all the time
to ask me what kind of car it is. I rather have my S than an
Elise. Honda rocks.

for all you wondering about whether to buy an '03 or '04, theres
nothing like hitting 60 in second gear.

let me put it this way:

if the s2000 was never made, i'd still be in my 94 accord. there's no other car on the market that appeals to me and is affordable.

Seems irrelevant if your target speed is in fact well in excess of 60 MPH.

Oh and yes it is absolutely worth it and more. I'd like a nicer analog instrument panel as on a Porsche or BMW but other than that I have no complaints. This car seems more rock solid than anything I have owned for many years and is a total joy to drive.

Even after 2.5 years there's not another car for $27,900 I would rather buy. It's just a challenge not to drive it too much and put too many miles on the car. I'm trying so hard to keep the car under 15,000 miles per year, but even with a beater I average over 15,000 miles.

For me, the car is worth more than what I paid for. I got $500 over invoice on my MY03 and I think it's definitely worth more than that. Of course, I can't afford to pay much more for it, so I am glad that the car is so reasonably priced for such a good product.

My boyfriend's niece was in love with the Boxter for the longest time (she's only 12). When she came to California to visit, my boyfriend asked if she would like to see my "new sports car." She asked if it was a Boxter, and he said, "No, it's better than that."

She got into the car, I took her for a spin (no crazy driving wth a 12 year old passenger), and now she loves the S2000 way more than the Boxter.
