Default S2000 or WRX

Hey so i have been driving an s2000 for about 6 months and love it but its time to get my brother a car because he got his licenses.

basicly he has 12,000 to spend.

i have 2 choices.

My brother would be getting my car and 2,000 with it and....
i get 10,000 to spend on any car.

The car i want is a Subaru STi. clean title, but i only have 10,000
or
I could get a stock WRX with 80k miles on it for 10,000

what should i do?

p.s. i love the s2000 theres nothing wrong with it and i have beaten WRXs from a launch

also i am going to college . just wanna know what i should do?

My opinion, stick with the S. Theres nothing like cruising with the top down on a beautiful spring/summer evening. Not to mention, I don't believe its a smart idea to give a new driver the keys to an S2000. Too much of a car for a new driver IMO.

Keep the car. Have your brother spend the 12K on something else.

This is the same s2k you crashed about a month or 2 ago?
Is it boosted like you planned to?
Whatever you choose dont goto college with a car payment its just another bill to worry about.
IMO have your brother pickup a beater for about 1k and pocket the rest he will want it later.

Yeah, seriously. You crashed your car and then you're going to sell it to your teenage brother. Do you not like your brother?

First time licensees should not be getting a rwd sports car. I would highly suggest you keep your s2k and have him get a used 5 speed civic to start off in.

Personally I'd prefer a WRX while in college, room to haul friends around, less chance if it being broken into, etc. Sounds like you would do better off in a WRX anyway...S2000's are easier to crash.

You keep 'S', brother buys WRX. Swap when desired.

exactly what I'm doing. My family has all type of vehicles(RX300, Titan, TL-S, Maxima), so whenever I need pick up parts or carry friends around, i've got it all.

How old are you?

I'd stay with your S. I sold my AP1 1.5 years ago for a 3 series, and really regretted it. 6 months later I was back in an AP2. I now realize how much I love s2000's, and I know I won't be giving them up again anytime soon.
