Its easier to get in trouble with RWD, hence why most people start out with FWD. Just my opinion anyways.

also i am going to college . just wanna know what i should do?
Have your brother price out insurance and maintenance for each option. I personally wouldn't put a new driver in an S -- not without a lot of autocross/track and wet parking lot time at least.

First time licensees should not be getting a rwd sports car. I would highly suggest you keep your s2k and have him get a used 5 speed civic to start off in.

I think things like that need to be taken on a case-by-case basis. My first car was a Mustang GT. To the chagrin of popular opinion, I didn't launch myself out the windshield or destroy the car. Plus I only got 1 ticket in about 4.5 years.

That being said, if he were to get the S2000, he had better be damn careful. It's limits are pretty high, and if for some reason you toss it towards those limits without the prerequisite skill, the ending might not be so pretty.

There are no beginner cars. Only beginner drivers.

The S2000 knows exactly what it's supposed to do. So does every other car.

There are plenty of foolish highschoolers who wreck 90 hp civics at 100 mph in their first year of driving.

You need a civic hybrid. You obviously cant handle a car with more than 100hp at your age.
