they will still go down, but the "floor" price will be a little higher. I doubt you'll see a clean title S2k go for less than 8-9k, unless it's got well over 100k on it.

Ya i feel like because the economy the value wont increase dramaticly for anything, especially a non-essential like a sports car. I remember being in highschool looking at mildly clean supra tts for 55-66k. Now a cleaner but 90k miles supra tt is like 33k. I would never consider a car an investment. However, the s2k is a great one in comparison!

Actually from what I've read, it's because the economy is still down. People are holding onto their old cars longer versus going out and buying new models. This is causing a shortage in used cars available, thus driving the prices up.
That, and that "Cash for Clunkers" removed a bunch of cars from the used car market, decreasing the supply. That effect will ripple through the used car market for a while.

i think the AP1/2/CR will continue to drop in price til it levels around 10K, say...8K for AP1/2 and 10K for CR. Then it'll probably be stable til people forget about it (20 years?) and the prices will rise

If they go that low, I'll pick up several to add to my fleet!
