Almost a year to the day since I got my first S2000, I've picked up another.

I sold my first S2K (01 Silver/Black) to a fellow board member in Texas about four months ago to get my wife a Turbo Jetta. Since then I've pined away to have her back, and last night closed the deal on another 01 - this one a Silver/Red. It was a dealer car with 3000 miles on it: never titled, beautiful condition, Honda Certified warranty, etc. Got it for $28,500 with a free car cover thrown in from Community Honda in Orland Park, IL; solid folks there: Dave Soutton and Tim Quirk get a kudos from me.

Now the problem: I have to re-do all the mods I did to my first one since this new one is bone stock!

Kudos to S2KI and the board members for leading me to the dealership and the wealth of S2K information herein.

Congratulations on the car. How much are they charging you on shipping? Just curious.

didnt think about an 02 S?

 

I live in Dallas but work Mon-Thurs in Chicago, so I didn't have shipping costs because I will pick it up at the dealership and leave it parked at the airport over the weekends. What's also nice about this arrangement is that I don't have to pay Chicago's crazy sales tax.

I looked at the 02's but I knew I wanted silver and the new silver looks too washed out for me. And the glass window is too small. And this one was $4K cheaper.
