I don't want to make anyone feel bad but if anyone is buying a new car in Oz, BARGAIN!! The dealers will come to the party.

Thanks Bernie, now I feel bad

Seriously, when I bought my S there was no position to bargain from. The dealer threw in the floor mats and windscreen and that was about the best deal at the time that I've heard of.

Mind you, I was in Rick Damelian Honda the other day and they had 5 S2000's on the floor, so I think things might have changed now.

I'm interested to hear what deals/bargains are out there Bernie. I picked my Stook up 4 days after they first arrived in the country (august '99) and needless to say there was no opportunity for negotiation.

Certainly, there were no deals at all when the car was first released but they are a lot more willing to talk now.

Got the first SPA Yellow in Queensland. On road $74550 to be exact. 01 Spec with Aeroscreen as standard. No negotiating on this one. Got the first one by chance.

NickD

It must have been you I saw about a fortnight ago then driving around Stones Corner!! I was really impressed to see a yellow one and I thought it must have been a private import until my dealer told me they became available this year.

By the way, what is an aeroscreen?

So the wind deflector is now standard and the CD stack is in the cockpit? All you need now are the one piece mats which Muz is selling!

I have a very normal looking red S2K. If I see you round, I'll try to introduce myself!
