It's fine, S2000 is my first manual as well as my first car. I learned to drive on it. Haven't had any problems. Don't see why everyone is so uptight about it.

You could fry the clutch easly
rear wheel drive, if you gas it going into the corner it will lop around

get a bear civic for a couple months and learn a stick on it. parking on hills, starting from a light, traffic on freeway........

the S2000 is my first stick shift, and... my first car. i am only 18, but it has been forgivable for me.. took a few days-week to get it all down.. i accidently grind every once in a while.. but i've gotten a lot better over the last 2 and a half weeks that ive owned the car.

i got my s2k when i was 18 also, yes im spoiled i know, but im very grateful, but i learned on an RSX for a day, that was an easy car to learn on, and then i practised on a TSX the next day and for some reason that car was hard to learn on, and then my dad just let me practise on his S2k, and i got it down easy with it, it wasnt that bad to learn on.

and now im rev-matching down shifts, heel-toe, everything...lol
