Where in Los Angeles do you live? I see more Ferraris than S2000s over here in West LA.

I called up my contact at Honda and he has agreed to stop making the S2000 so the exclusive customers who have shelled out a whopping $32,000 for their sports cars don't have to go through the indignity of seeing the same car on the road with them. He also has agreed to look into an aggressive buyback program where Honda will buy S2000's and crush them for scrap metal to get them off of the streets. He says it's the least he could do for the highly exclusive buyers who will shell out this much money for a sports car.

I wonder if any other cars in this price range have so many owners begging the manufacturer to stop making their car? I like seeing other S2000's and don't feel like I see enough. Remember this is a fairly low production car, though it will be more concentrated in the warmer climate areas of the country. Next time you see another S2000 on the road and get pissed, just imagine that the driver of the other one had gotten a Ford Excursion instead. There are worse things than seeing other S2000's on the road.

It is all relative ..... even in Japan there are FAR more Boxsters on the road than there are S2000's ...... I will often go 2 or 3 days without seeing another one ..... I can hardly go 10 minutes without seeing yet another Boxster

I've seen two S2000 in three years, not counting my own of course. The S is really, really exclusive where I live.

C'mon you live in L.A., So. Califlorina, which is very popular with Asian imports and tuning. Therefore you are more likely to see S2000, especially hooked up ones out there. I have some friends out in Cali that tell me that there are a lot more Japanese cars on the streets than what they saw in Miami when they came to visit.

I see maybe one a week in the area of Houston that I am in. Downtown I see them quite often. I still don't see them nearly as much as the 350Z's or Infiniti G35's.

I live in the S.F. Bay Area and I see tons of them. Yesterday I saw FIVE. I spotted 4 Silverstones while driving and 1 Berlina parked in Palo Alto. I still see way more Boxters, Z3's, and 350Z's around these parts, but I too wish production would stop. IMO it would make the S a bit more special.

I see at least 2 a day in Nashville, TN. They still demand attention, but not as much as two years ago. There's just too many out there.
