Default s2k handling vs exotics

the supercars like the f430, carerras, slr, gallardo, etc carry the super price tags. but do they handle much better than the s2k? if so, how so?

thank you

since the f430 is not out yet I doubt anyone has driven one, i own a nsx and have driven a few 360's & F355's. First off, there is the major difference of power. The cars feel more planted around turns and the exotic price tag bring more psychological driving pleasure.

The s2000 is small and nimble which is hard to say for the others, ,why i love the car.

Much of the difference will come down to the driver. Put Michael Schumacher in an S2000. Put Joe Schmo in an exotic. Hit a track. Michael will be eating lunch by the time Joe Schmo hits the finish line. This is a bit of an exaggeration, but you get the point.

A super high pricetag doesn't automatically mean superior handling/performance, although with the general 'supercar' recipe...which includes w-i-d-e track tyres, low planted stance, and obviously a generous degree of engineering I would be surprised if they didn't handle extremely well. The S2K is more nimble, so it could possibly be better suited to certain corners, or series of turns...but I'd say its giving up a lot in overall grip compared to the exotics you listed.

well even if all you can afford is an s2000, it doesnt mean you have to be without the experience of an exotic.

just save up alittle bit of scratch, and go to an exotic rental place. that way you can have the experience if you want w/o the fantastic pricetag of committing to a purchase

Do you really need an answer to a questions that you already know the answer to? OF COURSE!
