s2k hardtop question
I have an OEM. It can be removed in a minute or so. There are two front latches just like the soft top. There are two side catchers as well. Release the two front latches, the two side latches and just lift it off. It weighs 44 pounds but requires two people to lift off just due to it's size. The soft top stays on but is lowered while the hardtop is on.
Mine is also OEM.
It goes on and off pretty easy. If you can't count on having help handy, there are several home-built and commercial hoist systems available. Mine cost about $90 at the end of the day, and is rock-solid unlike the freakish bicycle hoist I had rigged up before that.
It does make the wind noise go away, and visibility out the back is WAY better than the soft top.

You can always get a used one, but get a brand new one. After the pricing on shipping and everything else, it comes out to be about the same cost. Unless you can find someone local, most people take very good care of their hardtops.
