Default S2k & Heavy Winter Coats?

Well the season is getting colder and its time to bust out the coats. Today was pretty cold so I wore my leather coat. I get in my S and man it was such a tight fit. I could barely move. Are these cars made for people to wear coats? This will be my first winter in the car and so far im struggling lol.

After 3 Winters of ownership, I have found that you dont really need a coat to have the top down if it is above 40 degrees. Above 40 I usually wear a sweatshirt and a knit hat with the air vents aimed at my hands (but not turned on). The car stays surprisingly warm in cold weather. Below 40 I will put on a coat, add gloves, turn on the heat, and put up the windows if I am going on the highway. The coldest weather I have ever had the top down in was about 22 degrees. You get some pretty funny looks from people, but its fun!
