I want to know how much insurance you guys have to pay for each year.
I want to buy a MY00 later but I went to AAA to check my insurance on S2000, the lowest one is $3015 per year. that's kind of BS for me.
so I want to know how about you guys??????
how old? Location? and......... what else?

try american express but you have to have a clean record though. They give the best rate.

21st century with multicar discount
$1355 per year

When I was shopping for other rates, I called AIS/Mercury with the same info as above w/out the multicar discount and they quoted me $720 for 6 months.

I think $3015 is high but there are many factors that can drive insurance rates up. I still think that my insurance can even go lower... anyway, good luck with your search.

I'm excited because when my S gets here in Dec my isurance will only go up $100 a year. About $1300 a year for me.

multi car discount means that you have 2 vehicles, usually one is a beater and the other is your pimp mobile. you tell them your beater is a commuter and your pimp mobile is used for 'leisure or recreation'. You would pay a little extra for the beater, usually not very much but in return you will pay less for your pimp mobile with the same coverage usually it is comprehensive. You can get up to 10% discount depending on your credit/record history. For example, I have an 03 pathfinder and 03 escalade. I listed the escalade as recreational vehicle and only pay $300 for 6mos with full coverage but pay $450 on the pathfinder. BTW, if you own a home this will give you even more discount. In my case, I do own a home so that's why my pay is so low. I just check with Amexpress on MY04 s2k and they quoted me $400/6mos. I guess this isn't too bad.
