there is no intake better than the mugen...period...the J's is a copy of the earlier mugen..J's also copied mugens hood and other parts...they were using them on their race car and then made their own copies....mugen changed their intake from a long snorkel that went in front of the radiator to a shorter version that utilizes a pocket of high pressure air behind the front bumper....BOTTOM LINE if you want and can afford the best, buy Mugen

Are any of the intakes discussed in here available for the 2004+ models? I've heard the V2 is ready but I can't find it yet.

Yes, the Comptech is available for 2004+ models. The PRM (the one Kodokan has) will fit any year.

Hmmmm, so where's the info to back up this statement? The Mugen has not dyno'd any higher the AEM or the Comptech. I'm talking about dyo sheets from real owner's and not the BS dynos that magazines or the company shows off. BTW, there's no "pocket of pressure" behind the front bumper The first intake was kinked so it could go down to the radiator and that sharp kink is bad for airflow. This was reduced by having it come out of the bumper AND inorder to use the intake properly, you need to buy the SS bumper.
