Recent Road & Track compared the best-handling cars & tho they mentioned the S2K, it wasn't allegedly rated high enough to be selected to participate- the top finishers, in order were: Ferrari 360 Modena, Elise, 911 Turbo, Lancer Evo VII, Z06, Boxster S, M3, and in 8th place was the Mazda MP3 (??), with no S2K -- I don't get it!

Maybe if it had a porsche or bmw emblem on it it would get what it deserves.
Beats the hell out of me.

 

They had 1 car that had the same tested lateral g that the S2000 has and 1 car that tested less than the S2000. Go figure? My only guess would be that there were no S2000's available in the "test" fleet at that particular time so they came up with some dumbass excuse. Perhaps the almighty "Road & Track" didn't have enough clout to get Honda to cough up an "extra" S2000 for the press corps.
