Default s2k paranoa

So we all know our S is a thief magnet. And my old GS-R used to be a thief magnet, (it probably still is but I worry about it way less now since it's my daily). But I drive around seeing corvette/porshe owners, etc and I'm wondering since I only frequent the S2k forums, do owners of other fairly higher profile cars freak out about theft and parts? Hondas are a bit more ubiquitous I think than vette parts, but what do I know, I don't own a vette.
Any owners of other cars want to chime in? Like do NS-X guys worry about their cars being stripped and left on the side of a ditch? Or is it mainly the civic type S's, accords, corollas, etc that are coveted in the underworld.

hah I guess I'm looking for confirmation, if porshe, bmw or vette drivers share the same paranoid thoughts, and have to deal with their cars being parted out. Then I feel much better =) Misery loves company! haha

Probably not as their parts arent as "interchangeable". I would imagine only people jacking say... Zr1's to put those parts on a standard z06 but how often do you see zr1's nowadays

I don't worry, i just take the normal precautions (mainly lock the car and hide valuables) and go about my business.... Honestly, life is much better when you worry less.

I'm always worried about my car.

Fortunately, I have a DD and I never really drive the car any place where it sits by itself for a long period of time.

Basically, if I can't keep an eye on the car, I don't take it. Exceptions would be when I go play golf (golf courses really aren't frequented by car thieves/vandals), and my work place which has security patrolling the parking lots and security cameras as well.

I was never really paranoid about it til my new retard neighbors moved in.

my concern is more the park too close and ding my car with their door since its happened already.

where im from, car theft/break ins arent that big of a problem.

i peek out every once in a while to make sure my cars ok but aside from that, ive never had any problems.

out of all the cars ive owned, the 90 eclipse with some fosgates in it was the only one that was ever broken in to or messed with.
