S2K Pop-Up Headlights!
I've owned a few cars with pop up headlights.
With all of them the hunt was always on for a way to swap them over to fixed headlights.
Looks better, less weight, less parts to break, etc.
Talk to the guys working on older Supras, Miatas, Probes, MR2's, etc. Most of them are looking for a nice, bright, fixed solution.

Anything can be done, but it just depends on whether or not you want to spend the time and money to get it done. I'm sure that you could use motors from other cars, and then make a completely custom headlight enclosure to fit between the fender and bumper opening. Although I like the old school slant nose Porsche's, I think it would look horrible on the S2K. I think there is a reason why pop-up headlights went out of style like 10 years ago, and they would look out of place with the rest of the body of the S, but that is just my own opinion. If you like it, go for it.
