^Nofar, you must have NFR confused with Silverstone if you think it's the fastest color.

I daily drive my S. I made it stiffer, lower and louder than stock and still enjoy the hell out of it, probably more so now than before. I have fit many odd things into the trunk; mainly b/c I have removed the spare tire.

Actually, my previous S2K was a 2004 Silverstone on Red/Black, so I know all abot you Silverstone guys! I sold my 2004 to a very good friend, then bought my 2007. I do miss the red/black interior though.

topic been covered to death. Get good tires for the climate condition, and it'll be fine.

Now, I do miss having more space. But that's because I'm landscaping my backyard and I need to haul materials and rent equipment. So, no the S waasn't cutting it.

You should see the stone patio guys when I rolled up in my S to buy some patio slabs. hahaha

VSA is on the ball enough to keep you out of throttle-related trouble in the wet or on cold tires, so as long as you respect the weather, it's not like it will kill you or anything.

As for me, I can't bear to put that many miles on the S and I don't want to carry the kids I work with around in it any more than I have to.

You should get the Chase Race hitch for ~$300 and borrow a small trailer for hauling stuff.

The S2K would make a suitable daily for me with the right tires, but then it becomes a different car then what I intended it to be. Then those winter months of ice, snow, ect ect we get here, I just couldn't bare it. my previous daily drivers took a royal beating, and the front ends got scuffed up to all hell, and I couldn't bare it happening to this, so it stays a season car, with occasional trips to work on nice days.

This all depends on the person, locstion, and the lifestyle. For most people, this car is an impossible daily driver, but it can in fact be a great daily if the personality fits, and it gives you what you need.

i live in hawaii, well.... the weather is usually sunny, or raining. but i daily drive my S and i have no problems. its a good car if it just you and a close friend. the MPG is around 23 for me and i do a lot of city driving, also it has a decent trunk to load bags and other gear and also its a drop top soo lots of open air fun but yeah i feel the S is a decent everyday driver.

It's all relative. I seriously doubt that shoppers are considering S versus horse.

Comparisons to relatively comfy GT's are likely though.

I sure hope it's a realistic everyday car. Otherwise I've been doing it terribly wrong for all these years.

DD it, love it, have no other vehicle, have no need. Even though I race large scale RC cars. Tools in the back, plastic sheet and RC on the passenger seat.

Just a q. If you DD your S... Does the fun remain in the car?!

Because everyday the same "road" and distance to you work.. and then park it... Seems boring to me
